Fibro- Scan: Free Camp on 12 Feb 2018

Fibro-Scan represents one of the noninvasive tools specifically developed for the estimation of
the degree of hepatic fibrosis. On Monday the 12 th  Feb 2018, Department of Gastrointestinal
Surgery of our hospital organized a free camp for the patients. The camp was held from 12:00
noon till 03:00 pm. In all 21 patients were benefited. 15 patients diagnosed, were found to have
liver fibrosis with unhealthy liver.  As the scenario defines the unhealthy form of liver in the
highest number of patients, the hospital is planning to make this as a monthly practice.
