Jashpur nagar is district place in north eastern corner of Chhattisgarh State nestled in the locality of Natural Hills and forest, part of ‘Dandakaranya’ in Ramayana. Its naturally inhabited by large number of tribal community, still lacking in facilities for health and illness.
Sewankur, a social organization from Nagpur, recently organized their consecutive second surgical camp at Jashpur from 7th to 9th Feb 2020. Team consisted of 03 surgeons viz. Dr. Sudhir Tomey, Dr. Pranam Sadawarte, Dr. Sumit Gathe, 3 Anesthetist viz. Dr. Vivek Bhargava, Dr. Sachin Dharmadhikari, Dr. Vishal; Gynecologist : Dr. Mrs. Sadavarte & OT Technician Mr. Sumedh. In all 25 operations were carried out at charitable hospital run by Akhil Bhartiya Vanwas Kalyan ashram at Jashpur. Patients with hydrocele, hernia, uterine problems, piles scars and contracture, facial nevus, soft tissue lumps got benefited. Local media and support group from Jashpur helped a lot in making the endeavor successful.
