Health Check Up Camp at Nimbunabai Tirpude Girls Hostel, Nagpur

As a part the efforts to provide basic healthcare for the needy patients, DEW Medicare and Trinity Hospital Nagpur in association with PEARL (Patient Education and Research Life Care) Foundation and Gyaanwat  GMC, Nagpur organized a free health check-up camp at Nimbunabai Tirpude Girls Hostel, Sakkardara, Nagpur on Saturday the 20^th Oct 2018, providing health check-up and aid to all the girls and staff members.  The camp was lead by Dr. Uma Pitale, Director and Consultant Physician at DEW Medicare and Trinity Hospital with the supporting team of Resident Medical Officers, Dr. Rashmi Jadhao, Dr. Truptee Kamble, Dt. Rashmi Buddhadev and Mrs. Deepa Somanathan. Medical students from GMC Gyaanwat, Nagpur, led by Dr. Sandeep Satpute supported with their complete efforts to make the camp successful. During the camp, basic health check-up including height, weight, vitals, growth curve, complete history examinations and assessment was done. Inmates were educated on health and hygiene. Supplements of Protein, Iron, Calcium were provided to all the attendees in addition to milk and healthy snacks. 56 students and staff members were benefitted by the camp. This provision of the basic healthcare to the underprivileged students of nearby villages was achieved by coordinated team work.
